One-half of Keche Music Group, Keche Joshua has taken a swipe at Gasmilla for claiming he is the originator of the Azonto genre of music and its dance.
Gasmilla in an interview with Abeiku Santana of Okay FM revealed he originated the Azonto music and has since been promoting the genre. The Aboodatoi hitmaker also added that he created the Azonto dance which became popular about a decade ago.
This comes after Sarkodie launched an initiative #BringBackAzonto to throw more light on the genre which took Ghana to the world kind courtesy the likes of Fuse ODG, EL, Sark, and others, not forgetting Gasmilla.
However, after Gasmilla’s comments in his previous interview with Abeiku Santana, Keche Joshua also took to twitter in a video sighted by Gossips24.com to hit the nail right on Gasmilla’s head.
Keche Joshua asked Gasmilla to stop his rants because all the songs Keche released were Azonto songs but they were never awarded for any, yet they have not complained.
He asked Gasmilla to take the dance he claims he created and they – the musicians – will also take their music and #BringBackAzonto.
