H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has lifted the lockdown imposed on Greater Accra Region and the Ashanti Region effective Monday, 20th April 2020.
Earlier, H.E Nan Akufo Addo imposed a two-weeks lockdown on the aforementioned regions in order to aid in curbing the outbreak of the deadly virus.
This was later extended by a week. Though many expected other areas to be lockdown, the president has rather lifted the restriction.
However, bans on social gathering and closure of borders have been extended.
