There is trending video on social media that captures Nigerian police officers flogging a civilian for defying lockdown orders.
In the video sighted by Gossips24.com, the Police who have been tasked to enforce the lockdown directive by President Buhari seem to be abusing their power.
According to an eyewitness, police on patrol who were enforcing lockdown regulations found the woman sitting in front of her house and asked her to get inside which she refused to do.
The woman’s refusal infuriated the police officers to launch a physical assault on her.
