Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has taken to Twitter to lambast his colleague musicians as he claims the music industry in Ghana is a big disgrace to the world.
Shatta Wale said this whiles reacting to a report on Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta who gave entertainers in Kenya 100million Kenyan shilling to keep their fans and others entertained as boredom sets in amidst the outbreak of coronavirus which has forced both the young and old to stay indoors.
Shatta said Ghanaian artists do not know the business side of music hence are unable to give Government a tangible reason to invest in the entertainment industry.
He tweeted;
“Our industry is a big disgrace to the world .. Many musicians in Ghana don’t know the job they pursuing so how can our government take us serious..Until they see a change no government will support us like this ..If am fool in this ,Then you are more foolish.Gracias!! “
