The President of Ghana, H.E Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has declared that the Government will absorb the water bills of citizens for the next three months.
Nana Addo said this during his address to the nation on the progress of the partial lockdown on April 5, 2020.
The president stated that he has ordered the Ghana Water Company and Electricity Company of Ghana to supply water and electricity without interruption.
In addition to this directive, the President has also put measures in place for the Government to pay water bills for all Ghanaians for the next three months. This will cover, April, May, and June.
