Ghana will be experiencing a replica or better still local version of the challenge between beat producers, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz which was aired on Instagram a few days ago.
Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie after witnessing a beautiful contest between two of the West’s finest producers, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz entertain their followers in a catalog contest took to social media to call for a similar contest in Ghana.
The rapper was finally moved to make arrangements for a battle between Appietus and Jay Q after witnessing the first-ever contest in West Africa which was between Nigerian producers Sarz and Shizzi which came off yesterday.
Well, Sarkodie in a video sighted by Gossips24.com on his official Instagram account said its time for Ghanaians to work on a similar concept of which he is going to give him maximum support to see it happen.
The rapper posited that he thinks it a good initiative since major means of entertainment in the country are currently in lockdown and citizens are advised to stay indoors and at home. He believes the catalog contest between producers will make Ghanaians appreciate the talents and efforts of these producers as well as their contributions towards the growth of the music industry in Ghana.
He further shares screenshots of his phone calls with Appietus, Jay Q, Hammer, Kaywa, Zapp Mallet and MOG, who he plans to get involved in the online battles as well.
The first battle is likely to be between Appietus and Jay Q but the rapper did not state when aside where – INSTAGRAM!
