Damango Government Hospital in the Savannah Region has recorded a suspected case of the novel coronavirus after a 35-year-old Italian returnee exhibited symptoms.
According to a news item we sighted, samples of the man has also been taken to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for further assessment.
The man is reported to have arrived in Ghana on February 28, 2020.
Patients in the male ward of the hospital were moved to the female ward to make way for the returnee to be isolated in the ward.
