Politicians all over the world are labelled corrupt, but the level of corruption in Kenya alone is overwhelming.
There is a trending discussion on various social and traditional portals regarding how some Kenyan legislators/senators have been left stranded in Germany.

According to reports gathered by Gossips24.com so far, the senators, in the persons of Charles Kibiru (Kirinyaga), Loitiptip Anuar (Lamu), Christopher Langat (Bomet) and Mwangi Kithomi (Nyandarua), had spent all their per diems before leaving Nairobi.
Reports say that the four had traveled to Germany for an annual trade conference which was slated to kick off on Monday but was canceled due to the Coronavirus.
Since they had squandered all their allowances before leaving the country and left with no money at hand, they decided to appeal for a refund from the hotel they had already booked in the city, but their request was turned down.
