Embattled Menzgold CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah, who is widely known as NAM1 has been accused of paying just Menzgold 3 customers.
Yesterday, Saturday, December 28, 2019, was supposed to a good day for the first batch of Menzgold customers.
Various news portals reported that about 200 customers of the defunct gold-dealership firm, Menzgold Ghana Limited, have received various sums of their locked-up investments with the firm.
This was revealed by NAM 1 via his Instagram page on 27 December 2019 and a follow-up confirmation by Communications Director of Menzgold Ghana, Nii Armah Amarteifio, the next day.
NAM1 had stated in a long post: “I note with excitement that, the first batch from the first category of the Menzgold payment schedule has been successfully made today; 27th December 2019 by the ‘third party’ appointed”.
This was after the company had promised on Wednesday, that from 27 December 2019, it will begin paying its clients’ locked-up investments.
Well, long story short, some Menzgold customers have refuted the claims widely, stating the gold firm only paid 3 customers.
Some customers attacked the CEO on his social media pages where they made the revelation. They revealed Menzgold called and paid only three investors leaving the rest.
Instagram user, Slimfat83 said, ” 😂😂😂👏👏👏 gyae Gyimie nu, u paid those with smaller amounts, leaving those with big principals. So far 3 people I have seen u paid. Gyae gyimie nu Na u grow “
He continued, ” @paapa_hagan ya only 3 people bro… 6000gh, 8000gh n 4000gh. “…. ” @alexndede they will call u n ask for ur bank details “.
“@sluvkids only 3 people have proved with text messages that they have been paid… So pray n fast, maybe u wud be among the next 3 they are gonna pay “, he concluded.
Looks like he is not the only one, some customers have also revealed Nana Appiah paid only 3 people.
