The dead body of a child has been found at the altar of the same church he attends with his parents after he went missing during church service.
According to reports, the corpse of the missing boy identified as Kolawole Gold has been allegedly exhumed from a church altar in Akure, Ondo State capital.
The child went missing last month while attending the church, known as the Sotitobire Miracle Church, with his mother.
The exact circumstances of the child’s disappearance are unclear, but his mother, Modupe Kolawole, told the BBC she suspected foul play.

Subsequently, an angry mob attacked the church, Sotitobire Miracle Church, destroying its properties and also set it on fire.
The founder of the church, Alfa Babatunde has spent ten days in the custody of the DSS. He was arrested based on a petition written by the parents of the missing child.
