US rapper Wale has announced that he want to pay a visit to Africa and guess where he wants to land, Ghana.
The popular Hip-Hop artiste seem to have catch to ‘The Year of Return’ fever and is very excited to make that memorable trip to Ghana.
Originally named Victor Olubowale Akintimehin, Wale took to social media to make plans of coming to Ghana known.
He instructed his agent to make sure his plan of coming to Ghana is made possible.
Sighted on his Twitter handle, he wrote;
“Yo @WalesAgent I wanna go to Ghana … make it happen.”
@WalesAgent, possibly Wale’s agent, said “whats up Ghana you guys have been real f**kin loud today” prompting the ‘Ambition’ rapper to respond “So get on the phone jor!!!!”
We believe his announcement is influenced by the open invitation rapper Sarkodie made on the big BET Hip Hop awards stage when he called on all black Americans to come and learn about where they came from.
“This year is the Year of Return and I will urge each one of you here to take a trip back home….it’s going down in Ghana so if you are coming to Africa choose Ghana,” he said.
