It appears the next Ghanaian artiste to take over from Fadama grown singer Kuami Eugene as far as song theft is concerned is AMG Business frontliner Medikal.
For the first time in the records of his music career, rapper Medikal is been accused of song theft.
Budding rapper Kobby Rockz has called out Medikal for using portions of his own song for his newly released song titled ‘Kayayo’.
Kobby Rockz has alleged that Medikal’s ‘Kayayo’ is a refurbished ‘Soa Kodi’ a song he owns.
Speaking to DJ Budah in a recent interview, Kobby Rockz alleged that Medikal quickly made a reproduction of ‘Soa Kodi’ after he saw how the song was fast making waves on social media.
“But we don’t see it as a big deal. There’s nothing wrong to take inspiration from other people’s songs and make a few changes to suit your style and your audience”, Kobby Rockz told DJ Budah.
