Nigerian singer and producer, Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Baba has ion his top four Ghanaian musicians but failed to include Shatta Wale.
The musician is in Ghana ahead of African Legends Night (ALN), and in an interview with Brownberry, on Weekend Rush on YFM as monitored by Gossips24.com, was asked to name his favourite Ghanaian artistes and to the surprise of many, named only four as his favourite which excluded Shatta Wale.
Many think Shatta after his beef with Wizkid and his collaboration with Burna Boy had penetrated Nigeria already, but it appears Nigerians love Shatta Bandle than Shatta Wale.
However, to 2baba, Reggie Rockstone and Samini have worked tremendously for the music industry in Ghana, therefore, they are his best veteran musicians adding Stonebwoy and Sarkodie as his favourite reigning artistes.
From his view, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy are putting in an amazing work to promote Ghana music on the international market.
“My top 4 Ghanaian musicians are Reggie Rockstone, Samini, those are from the old school but big ups to Sarkodie and Stonebwoy; those guys are really putting in the work a lot, and are pushing Ghana out there. Ghana, you guys have some big acts.” he disclosed.
African Legends Night (ALN) is slated for Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Grand Arena Dome at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
