Renowned Ghanaian songstress, Raquel Naa Ayorkor Ammah, professionally known as Raquel, after a long break from the music scene which wasn’t favorable to her, has announced her rebrand to suit the Lord our God.
Raquel, known for her hit song which featured Sarkodie, dubbed Sweetio, became the talk on town between 2011 and 2014.
She became a topic after she attended Citi FM’s December2Rememba show leaving her ‘dross’ at home and in the process exposed her genitals to innocent eyes at the concert.
The singer after receiving heavy backlash seems to have been haunted by the events and history since she was always referred to her past.
According to Raquel in a new post on Twitter, she might finally call it a quit to circular music and venture all her energy into Gospel music.
She tweeted; “I know this rebranding has taken too long but it’ll be worth it in the end. I even cut my hair. I’m on a beautiful journey with God. A fresh new start is a necessary act in life”.
