Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi of the Glorious Wave Church International went berserk last week when he said without mincing words that Ashanti women are greedy among other derogatory terms.
He further labeled Fantes as fools and Ewe women as door mats.
His comment infuriated several Ghanaians so much that some implored the Asantehene to punish him severally for his inflammatory comment. Otumfour Osei Tutu subtly reacted to the brouhaha but in a way a lot of people expected.
On the official Facebook page of Manhyia Palace replied the comment by saying that tribalism has no place in our modern set-up.
But it seems the loudmouthed pastor is not done with this issue as he has stormed back with another statement which clearly shades the monarch of the great Ashanti Kingdom.
According to Prophet Badu, God’s Kingdom which he represents is bigger than than that of Otumfuo, hence he’s not afraid to speak up his mind.
He also added that he is a royal, hence he is also a king.
