Black Stars winger, Kwabena Owusu has exposed the Sports Ministry following the presentation of it budget and spendings at parliament which has become a public discussion.
In the voice of Kwabena Owusu, he revealed that the players of the national team had $20,000 appearance fee in Egypt.
The winger denied reports that Black Stars players were given $80,000 as appearance fees at the 2019 AFCON insisting they were given $20,000.
Speaking on GHone TV Owusu said the story is not true and that they rather took something lower than that.
“We did not get $80,000 as appearance fee, our appearance fee was $20,000″, he stated.
Owusu was one of Ghana’s revelations at the tournament.
