Renowned gospel musicians have called for investors to support the Gospel music industry as it is hard for investors to do so.

In a recent interview with Joy FM monitored by Gossips24.com, the 2017 VGMA artiste of the year, Joe Mettle and colleague musician and producer, Nana Osei, popularly known as Nacee, stated the importance of investing in the sector.

According to Nacee, it is often difficult to get support in the industry and it becomes worse when investors get to know you are a gospel musician.

“It is so difficult to get investors to support us to do somethings. I think one of the major difficult side is if you are a gospel artist, it’s quite difficult than when you are a secular artist”

he stated.

Though in past times gospel musicians and entertainment critics have frowned on the negative moral picture created when gospel events are being sponsored by alcoholic companies, the artiste cum producer pleaded with alcoholic companies to come to their aid when they call on them.
