Ghanaian rapper, Sarkodie has added his voice to millions of Ghanaians questioning why Government wants to build another chamber for parliament.
The big news on the proposal for the construction of a new Parliamentary chamber which is said to reportedly cost $200 Million has got Ghanaians wondering whether there will be any new government better than the ones we’ve witnessed so far.
In couple of tweets sighted by Gossips24.com, the CEO of SarkCess music questioned the conscience of Ghanaian leaders and how heartless they have become.
According to Sarkodie, there are important projects that need attention than the new chamber to be built.
Sarkodie gave an example of potholes on the Tema Motor-way. According to him, that $200Million can solve the problem of potholes on the major road which is causing accidents, thus, taking the life of a whole lot of people over the years.
In another tweet, Sarkodie said again that every project must benefit the populace first.
For reasons on the need for a new chamber, the majority leader in parliament stated that it will enable the speaker of parliament see members of parliament clearly.
Other MPs stated it will prevent the ruling and opposition parties from trading blows.
