Ghanaian singer, songwriter and producer Danqua has released his new album, Chants of Hope, today, 18 September 2026, marking a new chapter in his evolving musical journey.
An intimate and spiritually charged eight-track project, Chants of Hope explores faith, uncertainty, fear, perseverance, spirituality and the search for light through difficult seasons.
Blending soulful melodies, African rhythms, storytelling and spiritual reflection, Danqua creates a body of work that feels deeply personal while speaking to the universal experience of finding strength when life feels uncertain.

The album features “Last Man Standing,” “Exodus 14-14,” “Faith,” “Sane,” “Deep Down I Fear,” “Orison,” “Psalms,” and “Goodness & Mercy.” The project is largely produced by Danqua, with additional production from TubhaniMuzik on “Deep Down I Fear” and Ndandi Hills on “Psalms.”
At the heart of Chants of Hope is a simple idea: hope is not the absence of fear or struggle. Sometimes, hope is the decision to keep going despite them.
That idea runs throughout the album. “Last Man Standing” speaks to endurance and survival, while “Deep Down I Fear” confronts vulnerability and the fears that often remain unspoken. “Faith” and “Psalms” lean into Danqua’s spiritual language, while “Goodness & Mercy” closes the project with gratitude and continued belief.

Chants of Hope follows a growing catalogue that includes Danqua’s debut album No Walls, The Fallacy EP, Orison and Exodus 14-14. Inspired by the biblical passage Exodus 14:14, his previous project became an important expression of his faith and saw him reconnect with audiences through street activations, media introductions and a campaign extending into Kumasi and the Ashanti Region.
With Chants of Hope, Danqua takes that conversation further, turning inward to explore what it means to hold onto faith when answers are not always immediate and fear is very real.
As an independent artist, Danqua has also made community a central part of the album’s journey, bringing listeners into the process through previews, conversations and direct engagement while highlighting the realities of creating and promoting music independently.
Chants of Hope is more than a collection of songs. It is an invitation to listen, reflect and perhaps find something of yourself within the music.
The chants have begun.
