Fire has gutted two shops at the Kejetia market in the Ashanti region burning it down into ashes before the fire services could come to the rescue.
The unfortunate incident is said to have happened on the early hours of Friday morning and spread from one shop to the other.
Though the two affected shops could not be saved from the wrath of the inferno, the fire personnel prevented it from spreading to other shops.
Kejetia market is known to have had quite a few number of fire outbreak with the last one prior to this been in March 2023, destroying over 30 shops.
