Ghanaian musicain Guru who was recently disqualified from the University of Ghana student representative council (SRC) election has been reinstated and given the chance to stand and be elected as the SRC president.
In a dramatic turn of events, popular Ghanaian musician, Guru, has been reinstated to the University of Ghana’s Students Representative Council (SRC) presidential election.
Guru’s initial disqualification sparked controversy after he was deemed ineligible due to not meeting the residency requirement. Specifically, he didn’t reside in one of the university’s halls, a prerequisite for holding a leadership position.
