With just three months to the 2024 election, a lot of politicians would engage in all sort of “low” things just so they can be able to gain power and Lydia Alhassan is no exception.
The Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon who is again standing to be voted as the MP again was seen embarking on her door-to-door campaign.
Honourable Lydia Alhassan in the video was seen going round the town as she changed upon a shoemaker who was also trying to eat his boiled yam and pepper which he had prepared.
The MP who saw that as a mean to show she is also like them was seen serving herself as she eat some the yam with pepper.
The act of the member of parliament has led to divided opinions with some calling her out for pretending to like the yam with pepper as she would never eat that if not because she wanted power.
Other who also chanced upon the video have praised her for her humbleness and the will to even share food with a shoemaker.
