Ghanaian and LA Galaxy winger Joseph Painstil has pulled out of the black stars squad that travelled to Morocco for the second round of matches to be played for the AFCON qualifier.
The winger who was a pivotal member in the black stars 1-0 defeat to Angola at the baba yara sport staduim in kumasi on Wednesday September 5,2024 redrew from the squad due to his passport issues.
Joseph Painstil is said to have had a problem with his passport and that prevented him from joining his colleagues as they flew to Morocco in preparation for their marriage against Niger.
The LA Galaxy player is currently in the country as he seeks to sort out his passport issues before returning to join his club in the United States.
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a stated wrote saying;
Twenty three players made the trip after Joseph Painstil pulled out due to Passport issues. The Los Angeles Galaxy forward has been left in Accra to sort out his passport issues before returning to the United States to join his club.
