A video making waves on social media has shown moment when a 26 years old lady died after her toilet sunk into a pit dug by illegal miners.
The lady whose name was identified as Gifty Manga was said to have gone to ease herself when the unfortunate incident happened to her.
According to report, the incident happened in Odumasi in the Ashanti Akyem Central municipality where the young lady lived with her family.
Eyewitnesses who were at the scene of the unfortunate incident revealed that the toilet collapsed due to the illegal mining that was going on close to the place the toilet facility was.
They however called on the government to help put an end to rate at which people in the community engaged in illegal mining.
