The Nigerian woman behind the popular ‘bunch of women’ soundtrack has appreciated Nigerians for the love and support she has received.
Blessing Newton Abahi became an internet sensation after a clip of her confession at a courtroom surfaced online. She was narrating how her husband cheated on her with several women in their matrimonial home.
While describing how she caught him red-handed on their matrimonial bed, she said, “there were bunch of women, bunch of women surrounded in my room”.
Before long, the rather-humorous sound was repurposed into a soundtrack and became a viral TikTok sound used for funny videos and memes.
Following the virality of her voice, some well-meaning Nigerians launched a search for the woman, found her and solicited funds to help her start a business to fend for herself and her son.
Blessing has now taken to social media to appreciate Nigerians for turning her life around and revealed that she has launched her own business.
According to her, she’s involved in the retail, whole sale and training of chemical products.
She said;
“My people I thank una very much for wetin una don do for me. This time around bunch of women don start bunch of business. E don shele. I dey produce liquid soap, toilet wash. I can make like 25 products on my own”.
