Ghanaian highlife legend, Amakye Dede in a recent interview with Nana Aba Anamoah revealed his top 3 musicians from after the music generation of his time.
We all know the legend will mention Sarkodie’s name first as he does not joke with the rapper. He added Kofi Kinaata and Fameye to Sarkodie to make his top three complete. And explaining why he chose these three, the ‘serious’ man revealed that the guys are very good with music and always have a story to tell.
In his own words, he said:
“If you ask me who my favourites are, I would go in for rapper Sarkodie, Fameye and then Kofi Kinaata. These guys are very good with music and they sing because they have a story to tell,”
