Those who really followed Ghanaian highlife sensations from those days knew that Fameye was a great rapper until he suddenly switched from rapping.
However, speaking with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM yesterday, the ‘Nothin I Get’ hitmaker revealed that he has not stopped rapping but rather doing it in a melodious way. What he has stopped doing is freestyle, and the reason why he stipped is because he forgot some rap lines.
In his own words, he said:
“I have not switched from rapping to singing. I am just rapping in a melodious way now. I stopped doing freestyles because I couldn’t remember my rap lines. That’s the main reason I switched.”
