Information reaching Gossips24.com indicates that MP for Dome-Kwabenya Constituency turned TikTok Star, Sarah Adwoa Safo has been sacked.
In a report filed by The New Publisher, the Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has been removed, and a substantive successor will be revealed in the coming days.
Adwoa Safo has been absent from the Ministry for several months following her failed attempt to sack Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah, the National Coordinator of the School Feeding Program, and Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, hinted on Tuesday that she may have lost interest in remaining Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection.
Mr. Agyapong claimed that Adwoa Safo’s humiliating attempt to terminate Mrs. Quashigah was a mistake in and of itself since she failed to investigate and establish the truth behind several false allegations made against the highly regarded woman.
Public calls for Adwoa Safo’s resignation or dismissal got stronger after her prolonged absence from the Ministry and the persistent nature of her attitude.
When it became clear that Adwoa would not be returning anytime soon, the Presidency had no choice but to appoint Cecilia Abena Dapaah, the Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources, as Adwoa Safo’s caretaker while she continues to cool off in America and appears on TikTok with a pretty polished face, dancing and singing.
