Lynx Entertainment Record Label signee and Afrobeats singer, KiDi has disclosed that he was ready for social media trolls after he lost the 2021 VGMA Artiste of The Year award.
According to the Touch It crooner, he had his mind psyche up already before he lost the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Award to gospel singer Diana Hamilton in 2021.
Speaking in a recent interview, he said he was ready for the trolls when the award did not go his way, thus he was not perturbed by it.
“I’ve had the trolling experience even before I became an artiste. I remember my first suit I wore to VGMA, what Twitter do to me? So I know how these things go. Somebody has to be the scapegoat someway somehow and when it happened, I think I had set myself up by saying that I will be back. So I expected everything to happen the way that it happened,” he said.
