Ghanaian hip hop music duo” Refuse To Be Broke” popularly known as R2bees has for the first time opened up on the reason why do not grant interviews to journalists.
The music group which is made up of Mugeez and Omar Sterling have revealed that they use to grant interviews when they were coming up but they came to the realization that a lot of media house chases clout and make their own words out of their statement.
The two who were speaking to Joynews at the launch of their album “Back to Basics” revealed that they try as much as possible to stay away from anything that has to do with media.
“The only thing we know how to do is sing and that when we get the mic but for granting interviews we don’t do that anymore because some journalist used to clout chase.”
Omar Sterling adding up to the words of Mugeez stated saying;
“We used to grant interviews when we were coming up and its not like we have been like this since but we relaised that some interviews we used to grant bavck then had the journalist taking advantage of us because negativity sells and they try to twist our words”
