The president of the Republic of Ghana His Excellency Nana AkuffoAddo has revealed that he would not sit down for same-sex marriage to be legalized under his watch in a recent video making waves on social media.
The president who was speaking during a speech at a church where he visited revealed that he is against the act of the LGBTQ+ and would make such that the anti-gay bill is been passed by parliament soon.
His comment comes after many called for him to come out and speak against the call for the legalization of LGBTQ+ in Ghana so people can engage in the act without fear.
It would not be under the presidency of Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo that same-sex marriage would be legalized in Ghana. It would never happen in my time as President of Ghana”
The president’s comments add up to the likes of the member of parliament for NIngo Prampram Sam George as well as prophet Kumchacha amongst many others.
