A determined young lady who has been identified as a student of the Gushiegu Senior High School is said to have gone into labour whiles taking part in the currently ongoing WASSCE examination.
According to reports, the lady was assisted by a colleague student who was also writing the exams after which both the mother and the other student who acted as a nurse were made to sit and write the exams.
The lady whose name has been withheld was to have given birth to a baby boy on Monday morning, September 13, 2021, at around 10 am.
A teacher who was invigilating revealed that this was the first time an incident of that sort has happened in the school and further added that the lady was sent to the hospital immediately after writing the exams for roper medical attention.
