Captain Smart has reacted to the wild claims from the Minister of Roads and Highways, Kwesi Amoako Attah who has laid a complaint to the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service to probe the astute journalist for duping a certain woman to the tune of Ghc25,000 with his name.
According to the circulating reports, Captain Smart allegedly duped the woman into parting with GH25,000.00, which he stated would be used to persuade the Roads and Highways Minister to take a specific decision in her favor over a construction project.
The woman further alleged that the money she paid to Captain Smart for the intended purpose of halting the building project didn’t get to Kwesi Amoako as the Media General employee had promised her.
She took her plea to the doors of NET 2 TV which drew the attention of the NPP bigwig who later prompted the CID to investigate the matter.
However, Captain Smart has critically come out to deny ever crossing paths with the said woman. Whiles speaking on Onua TV earlier this morning, he further stressed that he would have used Akufo-Addo or former Kufuor’s name to dupe people because he’s closer to them.
He ended his submissions by bragging that Ghc25,000 is a chicken change for him.
