A 28-year-old architect has been arrested in Abesim, near Sunyani for reportedly murdering three children aged between 12-15 years and also busted for storing their bodies in a refrigerator.
Richard Appiah a surveyor is alleged to be the culprit behind these inhumane actions.
One of the victims’ body was sliced into bits, with some of the fragments allegedly preserved in a double door fridge discovered in one of Appiah’s apartments.
Appiah was apprehended by relatives of one of the victims, a 12-year-old boy and other community members.
On August 20, a relative of one of the victims reportedly reported his missing son to Sunyani police.
Appiah had come for his 12-year-son at around 5:30 p.m., he told the police, but the young child could not be found.
Some relatives of the suspect came to the police station with Appiah approximately an hour and a half later on suspicion of knowing the location of the 12-year-old youngster.
