Popular Afrobeat singer, Davido has opened up about his collaboration with American rapper, Nicki Minaj in a recent interview.
The singer had the song with the multiple award-winning rapper dubbed, “Holy Ground” in which he recruited Nicki Minaj and the song was on his “A Better Time” album.
Davido surprised music lovers with the song as it was released last year and has since been working with several international artists outside Nigeria.
Speaking in a recent interview on Power 106FM with Checc’D he emphasized that he never met the rapper for the song to be recorded and has never met her in his life.
He indicated that he sent a DM to the American female hottest rapper on social media requesting for her to Jump on the song and he responded.
According to him, Nicki Minaj responded to his DM and told him to send the song data and she recorded and sent it back to her.
