Afia Schwar has joined the many Gas that have angrily expressed their dissatisfaction with Rev Obofour’s enstoolment as a sub-chief in the Ga traditional area.
After pictures from the enstoolment ceremony of Rev Obofour went viral on the internet, both positive and negative comments flooded the local digital space pertaining to the commentator’s view about royalty.
Many Christians also quizzed if the popular man of God will worship the idols with his fellow chiefs all still stick to the worship of Christ.
Well, citing from a new post that has been spotted on Afia Schwar‘s IG page, the vociferous socialite emphatically stated that it is very wrong for a person who can’t speak the native language of a particular geographical area to be enstooled as chief over there.
She further went ahead to assert that she really loves Rev Obofour but the Kingship title that has been conferred on him is a big No for her.
Schwar also advised Ga’s to hold their heritage and culture in high esteem.
She wrote;
Does he speak Ga? Ghanaians are jokers, especially my people. I love Rev [Obofour] with my soul, but when your chief can’t speak your language, there’s a problem. I wish my Ga people will take royalty seriously, but who am I?
