Big Brother Naija reality star, Nengi Rebecca Hampson has been awarded this year’s edition of the African Youth Award as the “Most Famous Celebrity”.
Nengi was in the category with Erica Nlewedim but whipped her to grab the title of the award.
The reality star was nominated with some other Africa big celebrities like Efia Odo in Ghana, Boity from South Africa, Wema Sepetu, Natasha Donna, and Lydiam Jazmine.
The award is voted by the organizers of the show and the winner was declared on their Instagram page as the Most Famous Celebrity.
As Big Brother Naija is the most popular reality show in Africa, it turns every housemate into a celebrity even if the person was evicted the first day.
Nengi has amassed a good name for herself after entering the Big Brother Naija house and has since received several brand endorsements and also marketing her company to establish herself well in the entertainment business
