Tragedy has struck somewhere in Nigerian after a student of the Federal Polytechnic Nekede died in a car accident together with his only sister.
The young man, Ifeanyi Daniel Iwuanyanwu, and his sister, Vera were reportedly traveling to Port Harcourt, Rivers state, to celebrate their mother’s birthday when the unfortunate accident occurred and they both died on the spot.
Until his death, Daniel was the general course representative of the Department of Science Laboratory Technology (SLT).
The death of the siblings said to be the only children of their parents, has thrown the entire Polytechnic community into mourning.
