Ghanaian Hiplife singer, Gasmilla – Has opined that the court purposely used Akaupem Poloo to serve as a deterrent to the ladies who are noted for sharing erotic photos on the internet.
According to Gasmilla, the crime that Akuapem Poloo committed was a petty one and she shouldn’t have been thrown into jail.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM whiles reacting to the video vixen’s 90-days jail term, Gasmilla explained that the court killed a housefly with a sledge hammer hence Her Honour Christiana Cann should have tampered justice with mercy.
He said;
For me, I think the court wants to use Akuapem Poloo as a scapegoat. I don’t think what she did demands a harsh sentence. She could have been given community service or something
Gasmilla is very right because before the 90-days jail term was announced Her Honour Mrs Christiana Cann disclosed that the craze of women going naked on the internet is becoming prevalent in society and institutions including the court must act.
She also added that it took into consideration all the plea for mitigation before arriving at the decision.
