Even Ghanaian pastors can’t resist the charisma of Shatta Wale. Rev. Obofuor is one staunch admirer of the SM boss and it seems another prophet, Bishop is tilting his allegiance to the SM camp.

Well in the build up to the forthcoming Vodafone Ghana Music Awards scheduled for the Accra International Conference Centre on May 18, one popular man of God called Bishop Thunder is rooting for Shatta Wale to grab the top-most award.

The pastor, who was speaking on speaking Hot 93.9 FM, said his prediction is not based any prediction from God but his personal opinion.

“Even though Kuami Eugene, Stonebwoy also stand a better chance of winning, I think Shatta Wale will win the award. I really like him”. Thunder revealed.

“Please, this is not a prophecy from God…God never revealed to me that Shatta Wale will win…This is coming from me, because looking at Shatta Wale’s fanbase, it is evident that he will win the award“, Bishop Thunder stated.

According to him, he knows some people will bash him for supporting secular musicians in his capacity as a pastor: “Yes, there is nothing amiss about that since we are not living in heaven but on earth…These guys are doing so well so we must all support them”.

The other artistes in the same category are: Joe Mettle, Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kuami Eugene and King Promise.
