“We are the torch bearers of Africa”- Nana Akuffo Addo speaks ahead of independence day

President Nana Akuffo Addo has penned down an inspiring message ahead of the 64th celebration of Ghana’s independence.

In the words of the president, Ghana must be proud because we were the first country to break the shackles of colonialism and that made us the “Torchbearers of the continent”.

Akuffo Addo in his ceremonial speech on Twitter also asked Ghanaians to help in the development of the nation.
