The Bhim president Stonebwoy, has disclosed that he has given out fifty thousand Ghana cedis worth of Vodafone airtime to his fans to vote for him to enable him to win all the categories he has been nominated for in the upcoming VGMA during what he described as the “Voting Party” with his fans.

Justifying why he did that in an interview on Joy Fm, Stonebwoy shared that the motive if this act is to invest in themselves. To him, it is not about the award but the reward and the moral standards he wants to set.

The multiple award winning artiste was of the view that it’s time we stopped awarding mediocrity and start cherishing and rewarding hardwork in the creative and music industry.

“I am making sure that we make a campaign for excellence because it has been the order of the day that mediocrity is being rewarded. You find out that some people find themselves in the place that the hands are tied because mediocrity has worked so hard that they have to be awarded.

Now excellence has to put in work so that it will be rewarded so that is why I have to strengthen the voting capacity of my fans to vote massively for the excellent one to be rewarded”, Stonebwoy opined.
