The Current NDC party figurehead, John Dramani Mahama and his wife, Mrs Lordina Mahama took their COVID-19 vaccine jab today, March 2, 2021, at the Police Hospital in Accra.
The former president who is the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the petitioner in the ongoing 2020 election petition took the jab together with his wife Lordina.
Speaking just after some minutes of getting himself protected from the deadly contagion, Mahama told journalists that the vaccine is safe, urging for the disregard of conspiracies that the vaccine was created to wipe out the African race.
Earlier yesterday, the sitting president, Nana Addo together with his wife and the veep, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia also took their doses of the vaccine.
