A 10-bedroom house situated at Bantama, a suburb in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region was destroyed by fire.
The fire reportedly commenced in the early hours of Tuesday Morning.
Items worth thousands of Ghana cedis is still being consumed in the inferno.
According to reports, personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) who rushed to the scene could not battle the furnace at first attempt because there was not enough water in the tender for that purpose.
