Shatta Wale or better still 1 DON, has finally revealed the only condition which can influence him to return to the VGMA’s and puck a nomination slot in addition.
This condition follows after news went viral that Charterhouse, the organisers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs), are on the verge of lifting its ban on Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.
It can be recalled that Shatta and Stonebwoy were banned by the board of the award scheme after the latter pulled a gun on live TV during 2019’s edition of the awards night.
In an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Robert Klah who is the Head of Public Events and PRO at Charterhouse revealed that the members of the board have held a discussion on lifting the ban on Shatta and Stonebwoy.
However, Shatta Wale firmly stated that without $169million negotiation, he’s forever out of the ‘bogus’ awards scheme.
Shatta Wale made this known during a conversation with DJ Ruben. According to the dancehall maestro, he’s no longer interested in the wooden plaques from the camp of Charterhouse to the winning acts during the awards ceremony.
Therefore, going forward, serious business negotiations should be made and consensus agreed between Charterhouse and Ghanaian artistes with them (Shatta and Stonebwoy) serving as agents of change!!
