Livingstone Etse Satekla, professionally known as Stonewboy has reacted to claims by Shatta Wale that he copied his 1Don concept to create 1Gad.
For music lovers, Shatta Wale kicked off 2021 with audio and visuals of ‘1Don’ an amazing Dancehall tune that was coined out of his nickname.
Barely two weeks after the release of Shatta Wale’s 1Don, Stonebwoy, also announced that he will be releasing a song titled, 1Gad, which was as well carved out of his nickname.
Shatta Wale quickly took a swipe at Stone for copying his concept.
However, the BHIM boss has countered the said claims by Shatta as he releases a video of the studio session during the recording of his 1Gad song.
According to Stonebwoy, the song, 1Gad was recorded on 27th January, 2020 in the presence of music producer, Streetbeat.
This comes to prove that the Anloga Junction singer only decided to release the song a year after it was recorded.
1Gad will be released on Friday, February 5, 2021.
