There is this wild perception that coffin makers and sellers are the most heartless people in Ghana because they are in constant anticipation of the death of people to increase their sales and expand their wealth.
Well, Kwame Marfo, one of the leading manufacturers and sellers of coffins in Ghana has refuted this widepread claim whiles crying over low patronage of coffins in recent times.
According to him, in addition ity is never true that coffin makers pary all the time fot the death of many people.
He further added that they are just like every other bussiness man/woman who sells his or her services or products.
According to him, they equally get hurt as any other person when someone dies but the business-is-the-bussiness.
Durinmg an interview on Angel FM, he revealed that his prayers are for the good of Ghana and its citizens, but maintained that death is inevitable.
We do not feel happy when people die but we always pray to God to help us do business, earn money and take care of our families
Praying to God to help us get money does not mean that we want people to die or that we are happy when people die, but death is part of the human journey and no one can escape death.
Kwame Marfo ended his submissions by urging Ghanaians to buy more coffins because they are currently “bleeding”
Recently, members of the association lamented over how marriage has become too rare for them due to the profession they are in.
