NDC stalwart who is also the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram Hon. Sam George has revealed that his children are not going back to school although lasses have resumed today after schools were completely shut down in March due to the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in March 2020.
According to the lawmaker who believes that the re-opening of school is a move in the wrong direction, there’s no way he will allow his kids to go back to school citing how the COVID-19 cases recorded cases are moving in Buggtti speed.
In a post which has been sighted on his Facebook, Hon Sam Geroge revealed that he had some consultation with Senior Medical officers and his wife, the arrive at a conclusion that it’s better the kids stay at home for sometime before joining their friends in school.
As strongly opined by him, it is better for his children to lose their grades in school than contracting and dying of COVID-19.
He wrote;
After deep reflection and consultation with Senior Medical professionals, my wife and I have decided that our children would NOT be going to school on Monday or anytime soon. As said earlier, better a missed grade than a grave”.
