The laws of Ghana have laid their hand on a policeman and his 3 accomplices who sold fake gold to an American buyer and ripping him off US$20,000 in Dzworwulu in Accra.
The policeman was identified as Constable Bernard Nubin, who is stationed at the Israel Police Station presided over by the Mile 7 District Police Command.
The police officer was arrested with his to counterparts identified as Kwabena Ofori, Joshua Boateng, and the last culprit, Kueey.
According to reports, the swindlers decided to flee after selling the fake gold to the American man but luck run out of their side when they were nabbed by policemen at Dzorwulu.
From the narration of the American man, a man named Kueey opted to help him get some gold from the Akwatia mines where he worked.
Upon the receiving the gold, the American citizen later got know that he has been defrauded after a friend alerted him that the gold was not real.
