Having a fanbase is the new ish for most musicians especially in Ghana.
There’s been several debate about the originator(s) of fanbase “craze” in Ghana.
Well, according to Sarkodie, he’s the first-ever Ghanaian musician to create a fanbase.
Speaking in an interview with Kobby Kyei, he said anyone who would try to argue should check when his ‘Team Sarkodie’ page was created on twitter.
“We started, we started the following but people don’t know that. The thing is sometimes we need to set the record straight. You go and see…If you are doing your checks, if you want to argue go to Twitter to check the date Team Sarkodie was created.” he told Kobby Kyei.
